An integral part of the living experience at the very heart of the Huntsman Springs' community is the nearly 500 acres of wildlife refuge dedicated exclusively to the protection, preservation, and enhancement of Teton Valley wildlife. The natural wetland areas have been cleaned up where appropriate, and, in some cases, re-created after 100 years of flood irrigation and cattle ranching.
Huntsman Springs’ vision is to return the appropriate areas within the community to the original native wildlife species. A series of connected lakes, streams and walking paths throughout the refuge will provide nesting areas and protected habitat for Canada Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Trumpeter Swans, curlews, hawks, owls, falcons, doves, and pheasants to name a few. Walking among the wonderful creatures will be a delightful experience for residents and guests.
Stocked Ponds
Fly fishing lessons, access to well stocked ponds and an exclusive relationship with nationally recognized Teton Valley Lodge Outfitters will accommodate the most avid trout fisherman without leaving Huntsman Springs’ expansive grounds.
